Be yourself. Don't worry about impressing others. You are only 12 and you shouldn't have to follow a trend. If some people don't like you or don't think you are cool then to hell with them. Everyone I knew that was good looking in highschool got ugly and all the uncool people in highschool got gorgeous. If you are cool and alot of people like you then you might do things that you don't want to. Intelligence is more important than popularity.

Drop all of your grades to Fs, run away from home a couple of times, be mean to people smarter than you, act like an immature bully. For some reason, kids think that is "cool"

the best way is be yourself
don't try to fit in and conform to other people
but
be your own person and in time people will see what a wonderfu person you are and by the time you are 13 or 14 you will be very popular

be yourself and be nice no one likes someone thats mean.. another way and u might think this is kinda mean but..for me when i got a b/f i suddenly became a lot cooler and some other guys became my frined i wasnt using my b/f and were still together [knock on wood] but yeah that can help

-Be yourself
-make a party and invite everyone even if u hate him/her.
-hang out a lot with your friends
-dont let any1 control u (from ur friends)
-shop at Europe , or if not buy cool clothes ( roxy- d&g- gucci - billabong - rip curl ....etc)
-dont sit at home.
-get ur own laptop & moblie & i-pod and digtal camera.
-make ur own web-site and send it to every1.
-make sure in ur web-site u have a lot of pictures of yourself.
-get cool sun glasses and many cool things to wear.
-in summer spend ur holiday in any place with beach and go out of ur country.
-dont hate many people , but also dont be easy to them.
-wear cool stuff in ur school.
-dont hang out a lot with ur family.
-help ur friends and give them many advices.
-when u go out (school/ hangin out or anything) dont wear something twice a week.
-when ur friends r in trouble or afraid of an exam or smthing cheer them up .
-eat ice-cream vanilla and strawbery (or mango but not chocolate )
-dont eat a lot of sweets , u have to remain thin not fat or anything.
-get many bikini swimming suits.
-learn surfing.
-watch "American Idol "
-Dont wear watches (not cool at all)
-wear filp-flop and wedges .
-dont stupidly follow every fashion.
-Dont think u r great.
-and dont bitching and pretending to be concered about smthing/sm1.
-dont go late to every partybut not early also.
-dont hang out with the same friend 2 days out of 4.
-dont go to same place more than once a week.
-luv adventure.
-and many more things ....etc
