Why can't we just spell out the damn word?

The word is "you." Y-O-U. Is it so hard to remember? Geez, it's not even as complicated and hard to spell as something like, you know, "weird."

The only short cut I really hate is "u" I get all confused and stuff .... I don't know why but when too many are used it gets annoying. Such as, if someone almost an entire paragraph using "u" and a bunch of other shortcuts it's just tacky.

It's okay when you are IMing but when you are writing an e-mail; it's annoying. I get irritated when they use "u" in IM too but I can't say anything because I use shortcuts as well.

My favorite is "btw" ...

Agreed, some folk are in a hurry to get things done. There is no regard for typing out the complete sentence of expressing the complete thought, Tloerance would be the best attribute in these situations, I experience it in other ways too... Oh, did you see that? What!!! I see alot of things. OR Did you see that guy? What Guy?... The one with the face?

Tolerance, people use short hand and type, speak in code.

If you know what it means then why worry about it. Are you some kind of spelling FREAK or what. What's the big deal except for someone like u. People like you kill me just have to have ever thing your way . I mean heII man its just a word not the end of the world.

You need to go to a quiet place. Although, if other people's use of shortcuts is one of your biggest worries, then I think you're doing pretty good. Smile man, it's not that bad. Please note, no shortcuts here...just for you.. : )
