My husband and i are set to have a threesome with his best friend on saturday. He picked the guy, i wanted someonewe were not so close to. he talks to his friend all the time and they hang out alot. they are just like brothers. I'm starting to have second thoughts because i don't want this sex thing to come between the two of them. I have asked my husband over and over again if he is still okay with it, but he says he is fine and everything will be cool, but i wonder if that just his ego talking. So should i call it off or go ahead with it and hope for the best?

I think if you and your husband really want to have a threesome it should be with someone neither of you knows...a complete stranger.

Think how uncomfortable it is going to be between the three of you after you do this. Anytime the best friend looks at you, he is going to picture that night. What if the best friend wants to have sex with you again without your husband? You have kind of opened the door for him. What if he tells everyone what the three of you did? Can you trust him to keep it between the three of you? I don't think your husband has thought this through.

I would be worried if I was you.. Does your husband like his best friend a little too much. To share sex between the 3 of you, he has to be involved with the guy sexually as well. unless he just wants to watch. Does he have bi-sexual feelings for his friend. They could have set this up before and then got you interested. Think about it. All these questions will only grow larger in your mind after the fact. Good Luck

Threesomes are great, but with someone who lives a distance away. Make sure you have some rules like not going behind your partners back, and follow them. (My second wife broke that one and now we are divorced.) Chances are your marriage will not survive for one reason or another if you do this. Jealousy, resentment, or something else. A few people can live with it O.K.. My first wife and I did that and it worked out O.K. we were married for 14 years, 8 years after we did any of that stuff. She left for other reasons.

Never have a threesome with people you actually care about. I say this from expirence. You will all end up getting hurt int he end, no matter what good intentions you have going into the situation. Your husband has no idea how he's going to feel about you having sex withanother man until he's actually faced with it, and trust me he's not going to feel good about it. Imagine if you had to watch him have sex with another woman....I urge you if you care about your relationship not to do this. I lost my two favorite men in the world over a situation like this and I really regret it.

Good question, I've always found that a little distance from the people you swing with is healthier, but I know people who swing with co-workers, etc and it works for them. Ultimately, it's your deicison and you'll need to be the judge. Alot of guys are like me and can really detach sex and love, watching my partner with someone else is very pleasurable and doesn't stir up any feelings of jealousy or self-doubt. If you feel your bf may have some of these feelings, better to discuss it now, openly and honestly before it has achance to be a detriment to your relationship.

You must be completely comfortable with what you do. When I was married we did it with my best male friend. It was great. But he lived out of town so there wasn't a constant nearness. There was never any problem. We discussed in advance that this was going to be probably only a one time thing and that any of the three of us could call it off at any moment with no questions asked.

We had no regrets.

You wanted someone you were not close to and you allowed him to pick his best friends? LOL!! Your husbands friend is about to get the best of both worlds. You sexually and him as a friend. Your not too smart to agree to that.

And your husband had an affair in January? Man you are total trailer trash. Can you say Jerry..................Springer???

Call it off! Have some self respect! If you truly want another guy get a divorce!

3-ways are ALWAYS A BAD IDEA with respect to marriage or commited relationships.

Almost ALWAYS A BAD IDEA otherwise.

If he is ok with some other guy having sex with you then I am going to guess he doesn't matter if it is a stranger or if it is his best friend. Is this your first venture this type of thing?
