Even great stallions produce a few duds in their lifetime. That's just genetics.
If your horse is a good horse, well trained and handled you may stand a good chance, but a guaranteed win? Never.

You mentioned nothing about the mare or dam. A stallion can't do it all alone, as the mare is just as important if not more so.
It also depends on which shows you attend. The regional and national shows cost big money with odds against most people. But it can be done.

You said "from his line" . How many generations back are we talking about. Is this Zippo the sire, grandsire or great-grandsire.
After grandsire, I don't put too much store into the affect of his genes unless he were line bred or inbred.

Just enjoy your horse and good luck! :)

A nice horse.. But, success in the show ring only happens with proper training, and constant practice, Many an outstanding horse
never met potential, because of owner work ethic.

he has good lineage, but as far as what your horse will do, obviously it depends on what training you give him/her and so on. I believe Zippo has his own website...try googling it.

Only if you stick stickers of beetles all over the trailer will she win all her classes.
