I think it would be pleasent to die in your sleep. And as i'm dying i would like to see my loved ones calling me over. Maybe that would make me want to go faster.

my mum almost bled to death when my sister was born. The doctors couldn't find the tear and were starting to worry. She said that it was very peaceful and painless, she knew she was dying but the bleeding seemed to cut off the panic bits in the brain. She was not unhappy about dying, which looking back she found very strange. She survived to live another day, but always maintains she wants to bleed to death when she finally goes.

My instinctive answer is 'on the job'.
However, of all the things that I would like to be said of me when I'm gone, top of the list is: "he was dead before he hit the ground". As long as this can be arranged, I am not bothered about the actual cause.

I do not think dying is pleasant at anytime But to go to sleep in your own bed and wake up in heaven would be okay..
