Mr. Wizard's real name was Don Herbert. He was born in 1917 in Minnesota. That makes him 89.

Mr. Wizard was the cartoon character that Tudor the Turtle used to call for help whenever he would get in trouble. "Drizzle Drazzle Drizzle Drone...time for this one to come home!" Mr. Wizard would chant and Tudor would get out of the jam.
As far as I know, cartoon characters age alot slower than most humans, (which explains why Charlie Brown still hasn't had sex yet!). So based on that information, I would surmise that Mr. Wizard (or Whizz!! as he prefers to be called by his friends)....is very much alive and kickin' like a chicken!
