I'm looking at getting a new Flip Phone and I need one with great reception. I don't need all the other features like music player and camera, but I'll take them if the phone works well. What do you recommend?

Usually you have to take the bells along with the whistles. Just get a phone that is a quad band phone...lots of them out there. Then just look for a primo service like Cingular or Verizon, but remember, just like The Rolling Stones said, "You can't always get what you want".

It's not the phone,it's the service. Cingular has least dropped calls (supposebly) but i don't get good reception with them.

BEST RECEPTION IVE EVER HAD IN ANY PHONE CAME FROM THE Sony Ericsson Z500a,,, although its somewhat outdated now it was a cool phone...!

ANY kind except sprint flip phones. they don't have that good of reception.
