Thank God, somebody asked this question. Thank you!!!!
I do talk to myself when I am alone. Not exactly <> but more like my brain creates situation(s) where I am one of the characters or people that are involved, and I act as the situation(s) grow. Does this make sense? I don't know whether I should consider myself as crazy. Because I believe I am fine. My mom talk to herself when she's alone too. But we are immigrants, and she does not know English so she said the reason is because she does not have her friends to talk to. But I have been talking to myself since I was very small. And I do not think there is something wrong with me. I just cannot explain it. I'm going into psychology right now to find out but if somebody can help me, that would be great! Thanks!

Yes, sometimes, but I try to avoid it, talking to yourself when your alone is not a stupid thing I think, it proves that the human beeing is a social thing, people need to talk and share their thoughts.

oh yes, alot of times. As a debator and poetry interpreter I practice and act when I'm alone. Or since i fantasize alot i could be like oh my maids women, would you wash my feet?! or in a fight with a guy and i beat the heck out of him, imma be like anyone else who's got a problem with me? yadi yadi yada. its actually fun! besides, when you talk alot especially to urself, you remember things like if you were in a fight with someone and you are practicing the way to justify yourself to the settler you would remember things as it was(this would be more clearly if you play the opponents side too)

Yes, I do talk to myself. Nothing wrong with wanting to hear the most intelligent answer to any questions I might pose.

Me: No, I don't.
Me: Yes you do!
Me: Whatever! I so do not...
Me: You are right now!
Me: Oh yeah. Touche...
Just kidding. I do talk out loud though, knowing that no one can hear me. For example, when I am in my car and someone else on the road does something really stupid that makes me mad, I will talk about them or say things to them knowing they can't hear me or say something like "Oh my god, you've got to be kidding me!" Other than that, I don't really talk to myself.

Well, people say it's talking to myself, but I just say what I'm thinking out loud without even realizing it. Someone has to walk in and tell me that I'm doing it.

Honestly, I talk to myself when other people are around. I say everything out loud so I will remember things better.

Yep, tend to have full conversations with myself. Even when someone comes over I still talk to myself, my friends get confused so they never really stay long.

ohmygaud, all the time, out loud, in the mmirror, people do this all the time and at all ages, and when thye say they dont they are lying or deaf. its called 'open airing' ; its done to organize your thoughts and to see how your thoguths fit in your life, and in your daily living. its very good mental excerzise.
