i need to know how to convert .wav files to mp3 files using WinXP MC Edition. i did it once a long time ago using sound recorder but can't remember how! any advice? (and keep your smarta$$ answers to yourself please!)

Acostica is a very good convertor too...Mainly for conversio between wma, mp3 and wav.. I think that should help

There's an application called Switch that will make things so much easier for you - honestly. You'll be able to convert .wav to .mp3 in 3 or 4 clicks.

Download winLAME. This little program is one of the few, if not the only, that can easily convert to mp3's for free.
