Well, I am in the house my dad died in and I need assistance. Does anyone know what resources are available in Dallas, TX?

Sell the house. Use the balance to buy a house that is more affordable.

You need legal advice, first of all. Your dad may have had insurance on some of his acccounts that would pay off a portion of the bills; this is almost certainly true if there is a mortgage on the house. Look in the phone book for Legal Aid or the local Bar Association, for a referral to an attorney. They can tell you if you qualify for free legal assistance, based on your circumstances.

God...that's horrible, sorry to hear about that!

Have you talked to your Academic Advisor concerning this matter? If not, you should ask him/her what options are available to you.

Also, you should contact your Financila Aid Advisor as well.

it sounds like daddy didn't do a very good job raising his girl.otherwise you would be taking care of buisness and not panhandling here.
