The spead of the torrent download depends on the amount of seeders and leechers there are. If the torrent has several seeders then it should go relatively quick.

I am not sure about resuming torrents using azureus. But, i know that when the regular bittorent client is temporarily disconnected and reconnected the file will continue to download.

Once ur internet connect drops close azureus then when it comes back open it again and the download will automatically resume. About ur speed....its only because of the number of peers and seeders. The more the better and the more the higher speed.

Azureus will continue the download as long as there are seeders available. Your speed also depends on how many seeders and peers are available. I suggest Bitspirit

It will resume when u reconnect. And you can only download at the max speed the torrent is running at... if people aren't uploading or uploading at a very slow pace to save their bandwith, u download slowly.
