Thank you for addressing this. you're absolutely right. i think, (and this is just my opinion), that the whole idea is so shocking to people that the only way they know how to react is to lash out. the problem with 911 coverups is that they open up a can of worms that is HUGE. if the government was involved in 911, what else is going on. that question is so hard for most people to digest that they shut down. it's programming. once you are aware of the deception, you start to see the world in a completely different way. a lot of people are not ready for it.

First of all, I am no psychologist, but I do have an idea of how we humans think: After all, I was one the last time I checked.
The best way for me to answer this question , would be to make an analogy, that we all might be able to imagine.
Suppose your brother approached you, and told you that he suspected one of your parents was having an affair. For your brothers own safety, he better have more than just some circumstantial evidence. The implications are so far reaching that he better have pictures, if he wishes to keep from getting punched. Such an act by one of your parents, could jeopardize the harmony of the entire family. So any inference into it should not be taken lightly.
If something did happen:
Some members of the family, might prefer not to know what really happened: Maybe by pretending nothing happened, it will go away (denial) and the family will be spared.
Other members will not be able to rest until the truth be known, and the chips fall where they will.
I hope this helps: At the very least, shows why this topic is so touchy and should be approached with finesse.
Take care ... and good question.

People become upset when others display an obvious lack of clear thinking.
We were not prepared to stop those murderers on 9/11, that's true. Why? First of all, there had never been such a hijacking. All of the previous hijackings had been to take the planes somewhere for escape or ransom. That's why there was no armor on the cockpit doors, and why the pilots let the hijackers take over the planes.
Have you ever noticed that crimes happen in the US everyday, with murders, robberies, rapes, etc.? We can't even stop that, because there are only so many police, and there are a lot of dedicated, crazies out there who defy the laws.

Cover up? Well, Shecky, there was no cover up, there was no conspiracy there was no nothing. There was only what was reported, that jihadist terrorists hijacked planes to fly them into buildings. That's just the way it was.
It had nothing to do with technology and the military; there was no reason to expect that anybody would hijack commercial airliners and fly them into the WTC or Pentagon, and there certainly wasn't any time to react after the first plane hit, because until that time, it was unclear what was going on.
The 'poor piloting' comment was probably about what his first thought was when all we knew was that a plane had hit the WTC tower.

Well coach, it is the wording of the questions that inspire the hate.
To answer your question, Our country has porous borders and therefore not very secure. It was very easy to attack us in this way.
What about the attacks on 2/26/93? Was Clinton behind those? Of course not! Nor was Bush behind 9/11.

Your question implies there is a "cover-up". Is this what you believe? Have you ever heard of Pearl Harbor? There are always ways to attack a country, and if you believe otherwise, then your head is in the sand.

What makes you think any country is not vulnarable to shameful and cowardly attacks from other people. What makes America great is how we get even. It may take us a well but, we never will forget!!!
