we have a music room on the second floor of my house. There drums, guitars, microphone, & a bass. But when we play the house shakes & knocks things off shelves. How do I stop the house from shaking? Is there like something i can put under the drums or something?

hang at the ceiling balls and bricolage all over it may absorb some noise
isolate the source of vibration by putting a vibration shade which is 2 layers of flexible material
u may cover the floor by wood sheets uncolled to surface they will make the effect of "broken bell"
absorbe the vibration by a expansible material such tissue or sponge all over the area to protect

Put carpeting down and put a layer of foam underneath. That should help absorb some of the sound.

first i would try and sound proof the room or make it more sound resistant...if you have that in your budget...but if not then maybe lots of carpets on the floor and maybe a few on the wall to help reverberate the sound back into the room? i don't know thought i would try to help though

Yes.

You actually have to soundproof the whole room but it can be done.

Willing to spend about $10.000 on it? Your local DIY-store will be able to fill you in.
