Hi. As mentioned before the School of the Art Institute in Chicago would be my best bet. I've researched a number of art institutes and universities and I personally plan to attend this one if I choose to be an art major.

I attended the Art Institute of Phoenix and Philadelphia. They're good schools but only if your into 3D modeling and building up those skills. I remember struggling to learn the new programs and model and build and learn to model from your images. However, I wanted to do more of 2D then 3D, and if thats what you want, look at schools like the School of Visual Arts, and Pratt. Hope that helps man. In the end, it all matters on your personal goal and what you want from the school. Look deep into each school and see what they offer you. Then dig deep into your wallet. Haha. Latr

It sort of depends on your area of art speciality and if you live on the east or west coast of the U.S. On the east coast is Parsons school of Design. http://www.parsons.edu/
In the southeast Ringling School of Art and Design. http://www.rsad.edu/
On the west coast is Art Center College of Design. http://www.artcenter.edu/
You will very happy with one of these schools and they are all very highly respected.
