Wait until you miss your period then retake the blood test.

Same thing happened to me I ovulated last week 7/4. A friend of mine is an ultrasound tech she did an ultrasound on me yesterday 7/10 6 days after ovulation. She is very good at what she does and she swears she saw a yolk sac forming. There was a little dot in my uterus. The ultrasound was done vaginally with a probe for a closer view. I then did a blood test yesterday afternoon and the test came back negative. I am hoping I am pregnant but it is just to soon to tell with blood. My doc. is repeating the blood test on Fri. and my friend will be repeating the ultrasound on Fri. as well.

While I was trying to conceive I often had symptoms of pregnancy only because of the anxiety of wanting to have a child. As for the sonogram.....I had one done for other reasons in January and that is too early to determine pregnancy. You can't see the baby developing until you are at least 2 1/2 months. I was pregnant when I had that sonogram and neither the tech nor I saw any baby growing inside of me.....I am now 6 1/2 months pregnant.

You tested way too soon! it takes from 8-10 days for implantation if fertilization has ocurred, so if you tested only 7 days after sex your baby might not be implanted yet!! you have to give it time, I know we all want to know right away but you have to wait at least 2 weeks for a test to show positive, and what is the sonogram for? You just have to wait, now remember that for an ovulation test to be positive both lines have to be as dark! did you get a true ositive ovulation test? If I were you I would just wait.

a blood test also called a serum test are usually 100% fault- proof although if you you are questioning the test either ask for another test at a later test or wait until you have the sonogram done to see what the results of that show. Your doctor then should be able to know exactly what is going on. Good Luck!

Maybe the sonogram will tell, but probably not. A week old embryo can usually only be seen with a microscope. If you did a home pregnancy test, go to a doctor & have a real test.
If you are that anxious to get pregnant, your body could be fooling you. Sometimes pregnancy tests give wrong answer, it has happened, or maybe just because it is still kinda early.
Take your time, if you are meant to be pregnant, you will be.

I can't believe your doc would even do the blood test so early! Much less a sonogram so soon! Must be some special circumstances going on here that you haven't mentioned. I'd wait til closer to your period is due, then worry about testing!

Preg symptoms mean nothing unfortunately. If you really think you are, retest when you've missed your period. Use the First Response home test up to 5 days before if you can't wait that long; home tests are often acknowledged by Doctors- you won't get a false positive, but if you are too early in taking it you may get a false neg. Good luck and God Bless!

According to you, you are only one week along if you are.... It is possible to be pregnant and have the blood test be negative. As for the sonogram it depends on when it is scheduled for. Getting and staying pregnant is all a waiting game....Relax you will know soon enough. Hope you get the answer your searching for.

You may have to wait longer than that to really be sure...Sometimes tests won't be 100% positive if done too soon. If you are worried about being pregnant because you don't want to be...worrying can cause you to miss a period. The anxiety can get to you. If you want to be pregnant though don't worry as well. The result can't simply be reversed...so just chill and time will tell. If you're pregnant you'll know soon.

Sometimes. Whats really weird is something called a Phsodo pregnancy. Its when your body and mind think your preggy but you really arnt. I would wait a little longer because sometimes test done to early turn out negative. Give it sometime and wait till after your first missed period. Those tests are most accurate. Good Luck.
