does the order [from lowest to highest] go.. diamonds, hearts, spades, clubs? i think im wrong but i dunno

there is no high suit, you can only take a trick with the suit that was lead. the hearts are only for points along with the queen of spades

there is no highest suit. You have start the first trick with the 2 of clubs, and you have to follow suit if you have it. You can't use hearts until it is broken and you get 1 point for each heart you accumulate, and 13 for the Queen of Spades, unless of course you get all the point cards, in which case you get no points and everyone else gets 26.
