Ringing in the ear is normally caused by the brain trying to over hear something. Strains so hard that a high pitch ring is formed in the inner ear. Can also form when a person is in a very quiet situation as again the brain strains to try to hear something.

Sometimes ear ringing can be linked to a power transformer in a TV that is turned on.

If you have incredible hearing then try turning off any TV's or major electronical equipment.

Superstition Reason:

If your ear is ringing - someone is talking about you. Put your index and middle finger up to the ear that is ringing and say out load names of people you know. Once the ringing stops, the name you are saying at that time is the person talking about you.

If your ear is itching - someone is thinking about you. Same method.

don't believe the hype. it has to do with the ELF signals that are beamed into our airwaves 24/7 by our electrical apperatuses such as television and radio and wireless cellphones and computers. it is also believed to be because of HAARP which is an antenna array that is located in various places thruout the world that relay frequencies on the same wavelength as the brain. so as to cause chaos in the people and keep them eaiser to control by giving them problem, reaction and solution scenario's. ie.. waco, 9/11 and ruby ridge. but hey what do I know. I am a paranoid psychizophrenic board certified. so don't take my word for it.
