Take off the backplate of a kwikset deadlatch?

Question

Trying to replace an interior bed/bath knob set and need to take off the backplate of the deadlatch to use the other sleeve. But I can't get the backplate off! Anyone know how??

i assume it doesnt have screws, so look on the neck and see a small slot.....push a small, very small screw driver or the likes into the hole and the handle will come off. then u will see screws and remove them and u should be able to take it off and replace.......
