It is all about what group is in power. If the Liberal Dems controlled the White House and Congress, they would be telling the Cons that complained to do the same thing. Basically, the group in power will always have a "If you dont like just leave" mentality. I guess the old saying "to the victor go the spoils" is fitting.

The only liberal who should have to leave the country because of what he said is Alec Baldwin, who promised us that he would if Bush was elected. Other than that, stick around and let's debate and talk things out. That, above all, is what makes America great.

Telling you to leave the country doesn't in any way take away your rights. We have no way of making you go. We are just saying that you enjoy the freedom of the US but then sit there and call the US evil. Seem kind of hypocritical

It is one thing to debate about something, it is another to openly bash the country and have a clear hatred for everything it stands for. It is your right to think so, but if you do, why wouldn't you leave? I am sure they would love to have you in France.
I just have never seen an ideology so invested in seeing this country be defeated just to gain some political points. Either you are with us or against us.

Even though I am conservative in a few aspects I still do not believe in this love it or leave it crap. You might love America but sincerely want to change it for the better. I have no problem with that. I might agree with you. I might disagree with you. But as long as you aren't advocating treason along with dismantling the constitution, I say hey, dissent can be patriotic, so lets keep in dialog with each other. As iron sharpens iron so doth one man sharpen the other. It can only serve to make us stronger.

Why do individuals say that? I propose, about the most efficient surviving? that is in ordinary words no longer actual and well-knownshows you as uneducated. each and every scientist or individual who bought a D or larger in a technological know-how type knows that that's the single maximum able to adapting that survives. Ants is purely no longer physically powerful. now no longer as physically powerful as dinosaurs. Reproductive potential is significant to survival. i do no longer trust Democrats have a tough time with that. and they commonly outsmart Conservatives by employing creating use of being VERY in contact with WHAT WORKS, no longer what ought to artwork. Edit: you comprehend what's fairly unhappy? i'm handing over you with tips that ought to maximum effective be used that ought to help you. Like a teenager you by employing and tremendous downthumbed me at the same time an reply like, "reason they do no longer extremely imagine in some element." receives all styles of thumb ups. Are you emotionally 3 years historic? i'm searching to coach you something. have were given to lack of information rule yours and your friends lives with no end in sight? bypass on then-make a fool of your self in each and each and every position else you bypass. i'm hoping you walk round with a booger mind-blowing out of your nostril and no individual tells you that both.

No, they only believe in freedom of speech if everyone sounds exactly like them. Did you ever see "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" ? Where everyone is replaced by a Pod when they go to sleep? An unthinking, unfeeling, inhuman Pod with no thoughts of its own, all part of the same much bigger Pod?
That's the best example I've ever seen of symbolism and allegory. That's exactly how it happens. You snooze, we all lose.
The guy who wrote the book and the guy who did the screenplay wrote that back when Ike Eisenhower was president because Ike was a former general, the one who most helped us to win WWII. The people feared that Ike was too beholden to the military and that America would become a fascist state. When Ike was elected, we were already in a war with North Korea. A lot of folks thought Ike would make it much worse. He was a Republican.
Old Ike surprised them. He did a lot of truly great things for America and he got us out of the Korean Conflict, but it took him awhile. When Ike left office in 1960, he warned America to protect itself from "The Military/Industrial complex" because they'd been pressuring him to go to war in a new place called "Viet Nam."
President Kennedy, a Democrat, put some people into Viet Nam, mostly CIA assets and special forces operatives, but he didn't like what he saw and he tried to pull us back out.
After President Kennedy died, President Johnson, another Democrat, took us into Viet Nam full-force. So it isn't just Republicans who can be turned into a Pod while they sleep.
Hollywood remade the body-snatcher movie when Reagan and the first Bush were in office, but it was a lot more gruesome. No brains, just a bunch of special effects When current president Bush was thrust into office they updated the movie. Even fewer brains and just a bunch of smoke and mirrors for really cheap special effects. This time it all started on a military base and it took over the whole world.
I don't think this was an accident. Nice screenplay pretext. But a really stupid movie that went nowhere real fast.
No, I don't remember a liberal ever in my life telling a conservative "If you don't love it, leave it." That phrase has always been unique to only one mindset. They say we must repress our civil rights and constitution in order to enjoy freedom. We can only have independence if all of us join together in one huge, threatening, like-minded mob. Debate and other signs of having free will are unAmerican. You're either with us or against us, learn to do the goose-step or you're an evil person, a traitor, a blasphemy to the foundations and principles that this great Country was founded upon. We cannot be free as long as some of us remain independent. We should all unite and we should all march exactly the same way because that’s the best way to defeat Iraq’s Totalitarianism, by proactively enforcing our own strong Nationalism and Fascism. We are endangering the lives of our soldiers by wanting them to come home, and we are subverting democracy by exorcising our constitutional rights.
Three and a half years ago the Bush People were so adamant in this they set up their own anti-anti-war protests right next to our anti-war protests, and they shouted us down and kurbleschtomped us to prove exactly how patriotic they are.
They told us we cannot depose a tyrant unless we’re all on exactly the same page. We cannot rid the world of dictators like Saddam Hussein unless every single last one of us follows George Bush blindly, whether he is right or wrong, and we should all follow him to the grave if necessary, and we should take as many others with us as possible, preferably Brown Muslims. If you question anything your government tells you, no matter how ludicrous and insane, you're part of the axis of evil.
It doesn't even matter if we invade a sovereign nation because "they have WMDs and they're going to use them against us, it's a Clear and Present Danger," and we find out that's just a bunch of BS. Then we can say we went in because their dictator helped the terrorists on 9/11 and when that is also proven to be a lie, we say it doesn't matter if we went in on two lies, we went in and we did a great thing and we're not sorry, not even if we caused a civil war that may never end and we killed twenty thousand civilians, spent a trillion dollars, lost 2600 young American soldiers and counting, and lies like this administration's will eventually bring more attacks back on ourselves, far, far worse than 9/11. If you don't love that, leave it.
I love it just fine, warts and all. That's why I want it to stop doing what is so wrong. If you want to turn the Beacon of Freedom into a Fascist State, you're the one who doesn't love the United States of America and our Freedom and I vote you off the island. And take them with you, especially *him*...
Don't get me wrong. I love our young soldiers and it is for them and the next generation that I write this. My generation was lied to in Vietnam and we've never truly recovered. We solved nothing and left without honor, but President Nixon called it "Peace with honor," like cheap lies could make us all feel better about ourselves, and especially about him and others like him.
I don't wish that on anyone.
Those who don't remember history are Doomed to repeat it.
Again and again and again.
God bless our young soldiers, and may they all come home safely!
God bless America!

Only the ones who SAY they are going to leave the country. Clearly they want socialism, and Canada is the perfect place to get this, and plenty of it.
