Yes, it is safe in quarantine. it's also like having a rabid gorilla in a cage. he may be safe there, but... what's the point? Kill the beast.
There is no point in using quarantine. none.

alot of people ask me what is the quarantine part of a anti-virus,amd the answer is ,it is were you can keep viruses which you may want to forward to the company who make the anti-virus you are using
they will then create defenitions to stop this strain of virus working in the future,but normally the company,s have their own people who are allways on the lookout for new types of viruses
what you should do is delete them,theres no logical reason for you to keep this in qurantine,so get rid....delete
