A crow snatched a baby rabbit right off my lawn recently.I have heard of crows stealing bird eggs but never small animals

Crows have been known to attack and kill anything they can, they are very opportunistic. I have seen crows kill and eat garter snakes, so it is very possible. There is no reason why they wouldn't kill it. Rabbits are rather defenceless and make a great meal.

Yep. Crows are very smart (and very bold) and they are excellent scavengers and hunters as well. Little wonder then that they are the most abundant bird species in the world and making the most of human cities.

Yes. I have a pet rabbit and our neighbors have a tree full of ravens. One day I caught a raven chasing my rabbit around our pool, they will eat anything thay can find or catch.

Are you sure it wasn't a hawk? I never heard of crows doing such a thing, but I don't doubt they could.

its possible i guess.i see alot of crows going after little birds,squirrels and even cats at my place
