First, like all humans, sometimes they don't think before they speak. And these guys seem to do it a lot. If you want to learn more about why we suddenly have a problem with Venezuela watch the video at the address below:

It's about 45 minutes long but very entertaining and informative.

BTW, Ann Coulter did say that about the New York Times. Here is a link.

Have you read Anne Coulter's book? I did, and she DOES NOT say that. If I'm wrong, which is possible, tell me the page number. Oh, and it seems to me that Ann Coulter hit the liberals right on the money, because they are reacting just the way she said they do. Pretty pathetic and funny if you ask me. But anyways, I don't know the answer to the question. I just know most critics of the "right wing nuts" haven't even really read or listened to what they say. I haven't heard anything like this.

He said it because he believes that politics should go before religion. If you think that's crazy, he had a prayer session so that a Supreme Court Justice could retire. He pointed out how several Supreme Court justices are ill and unhealthy during that prayer. To me, and don't get this wrong, it seemed like he was praying that "something" could happen to them, possibly death.

P.S: Ann Coulter's generalizations are so inane that it's hard to take them seriously. Other than throwing ad hominum attacks at liberals and misinterpreting fact (prayer is not banned in schools, organized prayer by the school is banned), I don't see how she aids the conservative cause.

P.P.S: So, according to that NewsMax article, comedians making violent comments on late night comedy shows is exactly the same as Ann Coulter making violent comments as a columnist who is wildly quoted, who has best-selling books, and who is often called in on Faux News as an analyist? Wow, Ann must really have low self esteem.

As a conservative, I think Pat Robertson fell in love with his own voice decades ago. He is not mainstream conservative, and does not speak for conservatives.

I vehemently disagree with his spoutings about Chavez. I think the Venezuelan people need to descend into marxist hell for a long time for electing soon-to-be Presidente-for-life Commandante Chavez. They brought this fiasco on themselves, and I, for one, am willing to let them suffer the consequences of their actions.

As for the 'bomb the NYT' comment, that's just Ann being Ann. Over the top and shrill and grating. She's sometimes very funny, but the funniest thing is the reactions she gets from the left. They get positively deranged.

Some of the comments (like Coulter's) are tongue in cheek. Some are in reaction to events. I'm curious how these are different to liberals suggesting bodily injury be done to the President? There are crazies on both sides of the aisle...

Pat's statement is ancient history, he apologized, case closed. He just isn't fond of America haters. Ann didn't say anything about "we" should bomb the NYT by the way. May I assume you're a liberal Defeatocrat?

I roasted the people who called for the assignation of President Bush and I feel the same about Robertson. It is wrong and cowardly.

Pat Robinson is far right from the Conservative right. He is so right he is wrong. Talk about extreme foot -in-mouth disease!! I think that at one time he was a power with the Conservatives but now even they don't want to be associated with him.

Yes right wing nuts exist, just as "I invented the Internet" weft wing nuts exist.

Anyone, be it far left or far right, who takes an extreme political view has lost sight of reality.
