What is the name given to the combination of Nitrogen & Methane?

Ok, so you need water, methane and nitrogen to basically make amino acids, what is the stage called before water is added, i.e when the nitrogen has combined with the methane to produce an orange substance, i.e the clouds covering Saturns moon Titan.

the orange color of titan's upper atmosphere is thought to be caused by the many hydrocarbons that form as a result the reaction of methane to the sun's ultra-violet light. hydrocarbon molecules do not have any nitrogen atoms in them. they only have carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen.
