Brew coffee.
Have you noticed at the perfume counter in better stores there is a jar of coffee beans? The reason is that it clears your smeller, that's right. Much like orange sherbet will clean your pallet after eating, the coffee beans clear the way to smell another fragrance without it stacking on top of the other.
Brewing coffee will do the same thing for you.

My wife uses the vinegar trick only she just put a large bowlof it out on the counter. The next day, she pours in back in the bottle and it is ready to use the next time. It really works, specially for fried fish!!

I always burn a scented candle while I'm cooking and after.
Another way is to put a little lemon or pine scented ammonia in a dish with the window open in the kitchen.

Put 2 tablespoon full of coffee ( you can choose not qualified coffee powder), and boil with 2 glass (400 ml). Boil for 10-15 minutes.
I usually use coffee powder to erase stingy fish aroma in my car. Just pour it.
