For the past few months I've noticed a bit of discharge and a slight odor coming from my vagina. I had a pap and the results came back perfect and my doctor stated that the slight discharge/odor is normal - that some girls have it more than others. My question is what can I do to control the odor/wetness caused by this? Are there any soaps some of you women use that control the odor and/or any products I can use to get rid of the wetness and odor?

Wear panty liners and change them often. Use cotton panties so "it" can breathe. Try using Vagisil feminine powder after you shower and pat dry. It helps to control wetness and odor. Wipe from front to back, and never douche-the problem will become worse.

If you start using feminine wash products be careful, try to use the most natural holistic ones since the balance down there can be thrown off easily. It's supposed to be a self-cleansing mechanism so stear clear of harsh soaps & don't douche. There are wipes that may help to keep the area clean & bacteria free. If the discharge bothers you maybe use pantyliners more frequently. Also, tampons contain bleach which turns out to be not so great, so go to a natutal products store (or order them online) to find unbleached tampons and see if that helps. Good Luck.
PS, if you're doctor's not being so helpful maybe it's time for a 2nd opinion.

This just happens to some of us (some sooner than others) with age. You cant stop the wetness,(panty liners can help). Also removeing as much hair as you feel comfortable with(this holds the odor). I also use a pray deoderant (SECRET powder scent). Massengill douche is good. Especially after sex or your monthly sycle ;)

now... vaginal discharge is normal.. .however, the odor is not. you may have some sort of Bacterium or yeast infection. I would suggest maybe going back to the doctor. But to contain it for now.. I would suggest that you wash everyday,. perhaps wear a panty liner.. that way you can change it, when necessary...

But again... I would go back to the doctor,,.... discharge COOL... odor... NOT cool!

Ah yes, being a woman is great isnt it? I have norforms but I don't use them daily only when I have a big evening planned and I use feminine powder and spray on an everyday basis...I also wash every single time I go to the bathroom. Annoying at first but now I really got the hang of it and it makes me feel fresh.

I believe nature is the best cure for this. Be more hygienic.Wash twice a day and always use wipes. Better still, use Aloe Vera to wash, that is nature's best cure for most problems
