skye is also very pretty, i actually considered it for my own daughter whose name is leila sage. anyway, i just love this name and i think i recommended it once before but it's

sierra leone. i think it's a place in africa. i just think it sounds so beautiful and i especially love the "leone" (lee-yone).

I'm not fond of the name Simone, but think that Soleil is very pretty. I especially like it ,when one baby is named Skye,especially since Soleil means Sun (You are the sunshine of my life, get it?)Since both names are a bit trendy, (But still,very pretty) I'd choose a traditional name for the middle name in case when she is 40 or so,she may want a more traditional name. I really don't like Tiffany because it sounds a bit snobby...ish, like the jewelry store. Do the grandmothers have nice names? i'm sure they'd be thrilled if they each had one baby with their middle name. My nieces are Brianna Jean,after one grandmom and Britany Elizabeth after her other Grandmother. think of yourself saying the names many times a day and your child having to say,"My name is......." You'll want them to be happy with their names for years and years to come. Good luck.

Soleil is beautiful! Although people might associate her with "Punky Brewster"...but do what you want, it's beautiful. As for Skye, I don't like it..in fact I think it's tacky and trendy as well--she will hate it when she's older. Here are some other pretty names that I love:
