Who said it was ok for a man to cheat? It isn't acceptable for either a man or a woman to cheat. It shows immense disrespect for the other person.
If you cheat on a man that doesn't give him any right to lay a hand on you. If a man gets really angry and beats you, then you need to run from that relationship. Don't stay there. The same goes if he gets emotionally or mentally abusive too.
