Hunger is not the biggest problem in this country. Illegal aliens get food stamps, it is not too hard to get food here. Stem cell research is not pressing, the only cures and advancement made in this field was from stem cells that were not taken from fetus's. The amount of money is not the problem with schools, we have spent more every year and test scores have gone down every year. My number one priority would be to restore the American Dream. My father came to America to work hard and make something of his life. He did, thank God. Today many come to this country to apply for welfare. That is not the American Dream, that's slavery. Anything goes wrong and everybody complains the lack of government response. There was a time in this country when people would see the challenge and rise to the occasion. I would repeat JFK's call to service, "ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country". I would rebuke the news media that takes pride in being anti-American.

Force all government agencies to be accountable for their actions and inactions, including the ones wasting our tax dollars AND the one that has on occupation plan in Iraq.

I assume you mean the president; therefore, I am not looking at passing laws ( welfare reform, education, healthcare etc,) or budgets as that is the job of congress.

Deficit reduction, since we do not want our economy to fail. If we borrowed so much that our loans defaulted (meaning we were unable to pay), the world would not borrow our money ever again, making us ill-prepared to raise money. Defaulting on our loans could even cause our economy to collapse. Also, reducing the deficit causes one to have extra money for problems that come up and causes economic booms (see the 90s).
