They're like breeding rabbits. I do own one, but I absolutely loathe them at the same time! The number of times I get ignored on a night out because of one of those plastic bricks!

It is very rude! A lady next to me once pulled out her phone and proceeded to have a loud, distracting conversation which I had no choice but to be a part of. So I pulled out my phone and began a detailed, sexual conversation with a non existent party over my phone until she was so embarassed that she moved.

A good topic.
I think its probably nice to
have one in case of emergency, but
holy crap folks, life is passing right before
our eyes, but our eyes/ears are diverted to
that plastic brick, (and other things like palm
pilots, etc) we'll be lucky not to trip,
stumble, or crash into something! hahahha
Moderation I suppose, would be a key point.
"There's a time and place.." etc..

If somebody needs to be talking on their cell phone when thier out with friends, unless it's urgent, I would consider that pretty frigging rude.
