y= 3/4 x + 2 is a linear equation in one variable so its graph will be a straight line.
put x=0, you get y=3/4(0)+2
y= 0+2=2
put x=4, y=3/4 * 4 +2
y= 3+2=5
put x= 8 , y= 3/4 *8+2
y=6+2=8
so three points are (0,2), (4,5),(8,8) plot these points on co-ordinate axes and join them to get graph of given equation.

It is not as bad as it seems. There are different methods to solving this problem. One of the easiest ways is to pick a value for x, and solve for the value of y. Since this is just a straight line, you really only need to do this method twice (you are getting 2 points and connecting the two) The second method is a little harder to grasp, but easy as soon as you get it. You know from the equation that is it going to cross the y-axis at 2 (the '+2' part)(point 1). Then from there you go up 3, then to the right 4 (3/4x). This puts in the correct slope. If the slop was negative, you would go up 3 and to the left 4. (point 2). Draw a line between points 1 and 2, and you have your answer.

To find the slope there is no work required. y=3/4x+100 3/4 is the slope.
y=100x+3 100 is the slope y-int 3 in point form it is (0,3)
y=-16x -15 -16 is the slope y-int -15 in point form it is (0,-15)

If you have anymore question let me know.

Make your chart with X and Y. Put 0 - 10 for X, and solve (using the formula) for Y. Once you have found your Y coordinates, you can graph your slope.
Basically, your coordinates are as follows:
(0, 2)
(1, 2.75)
(2, 3.50)
(3, 4.25)
(4, 5.00)

Hi,

This is lineair equation which means it will result in a straight line. Line can be drawn between two points. So you need two points. Take two number for x (try to shoose them easily), calculate y, and you have two points.
x = 0 -> y = 2 -> (0, 2)
x = 4 -> y = 4*3/4 + 2 = 3 + 2 = 5 -> (4, 5)

Should be easy to draw it now.

x=1,y=2 3/4

x=2, y=3 1/2

x=3, y=4 1/4

is it y=3/(4x)+2 or y= (3/4)x+2 eh!!!?
latter one is easy to plot being a straight line, but the former being hyperbolic requires a number of points! ,bye

function is once you position one enter and get precisely one output. E. there's a limiteless probably of one enter and get you distinct outputs. characterize a line is A, B, C, & D
