grocery stores, convenience stores, babysitting. Check with local small businesses, photographers (etc) see if they need an assistant. Take a look at your interests, what would you like to pursue after high school/college and see if you can find a job in those fields, locally. This way you can earn a little extra money while test driving a career.

head to the mall if there is one close by and look for the little signs that say now hiring. Dress nice when you go to apply for jobs because employers won't take you seriously if you don't take them seriously. Talk to family and friends and see if they know of any one hiring, lots of times that is the best way to find a job. You can also pick up a newpaper and look at the want ads too.

Most jobs for teens your age are usually in either the fast food industry or grocery stores. Neither one is bad for a first job. It'll give you experience and a little cash in your pocket. Good luck.
