My husband and I had a very, very long intimate session last night, and I woke up with my privates seriously chaffed (no, it's not STD). Is there something I can use, like a cream or something? Thanks!

My husband and I are very healthy sexually and this has happened to me on occasion. All I do is wear loose clothing and lay off the sex for a day or two. You'll be just fine.
A sits bath in mild whitch hazel might help a little but you really just need time to heal.

I have had that happen with my husband as well. The stuff I used I got after I had my son to help with pain and soreness and the itching from it healing,I never used it all.I tryed it after I had along night of sex.

It is called Dermoplast and you can get it at any drug store I believe,it is a pain relieving spray in a 2 oz. can.It might feel gross from the wetness, but just take tissue and blot the extra off so it ain't as wet.It will help with the pain and itching once you start to heal from the chaffed feeling.

It will sting for a few mabye a minute or so depending on how sore the skin is that is chaffed, but it will make it alittle numb not bad,but enough so you won't be in anypain from it being sore.

I have used it quite a few times and by the next day I was feeling better.I think this stuff is the best for something like this and I use it whenever it happens. It is a spray so you don't have to use your fingers just spray it where ever it is chaffed.

I hope it works for you!

Baby powder during the day, diaper rash creme at night. I recommend organic or all-natural products without added scent. Use unscented, aloe babywipes for wiping if it is really chaffed down there (use flushable types for extra convenience) and is going to take a few days to heal. Soaking in a baking-soda sitz bath will help also.

you may have a bacteria infection. instead of just being chaffed, set in a tub of luke warm water with baking soda. don't use soap baby powder, or anything else that's not made for that area. try mineral oil. on a cotton ball and just rub the affected area. good luck

I don't know of any product you can use, but a long warm bath and loose-fitting clothes should help you out. Chances are any cream you'd try to use would sting like hell anyway, lol. You might even put a small handful of sea-salt in that tub to help you heal up. Hope that helps!

a good massage oil will help, as long as the fragrance isn't too strong....makes you feel sexy when you walk too. i've used bath and body works oil - - a scent called lavendar palmarosa - - they don't have it anymore, but i know they have lavendar vanilla and plain lavendar....lavendar is actually soothing....probably why it didn't sting....wouldn't use it if there were any chemically scents

also, if it itches, which it will in a few days, get an vaginal itch cream. vagisil is good....is found with female stuff and/or near condoms.

keep him away from you for a few days....you've likely got little tiny scratches (escpecially if he used his fingers a lot) and those actually take time to heal.

Do not use anything with chemicals in it. This happens to me alot. Just don't touch it and lay off the sex. A good thing to do it soak in water only and then lay in your bed with your legs spread to let it dry. The moisture that it kept when your legs are closed will provoke infection.

Soak a tea bag in hot water, then let cool, then apply to the area. The acid in it helps. Seriously.
