THE MAGIC ERASER BY MR. CLEAN

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser is a great product.
Also, a teacher friend of mine said that you can actually mark over a permanent marker with a dry erase marker and it will often wipe off easily. This would only work if your walls are a glossier finish. Good Luck!

You're probably screwed! You won't be able to get the marker off the wall, and if you do, you'll probably mess up the paint under the marker, so either way you'll end up having to repaint the wall.By the way, if you go straight to the repaint, you will need to apply a sealer to the marker to keep it from bleeding through the paint.

Try soap and water. Permanent maker is permanent! I know you want to get it off quickly but the only solution that comes to mind is paint over it. Good Luck!

Try Goof Off!! This stuff is amazing. It's available at grocery stores and hardware stores. It got most of the black sharpie scribbles off my daughter's wall, many days after she had done it.
