The real question here should be how much did Clinton cost us the tax payers when he tried to cover up his little boy act with the cigar. Last I heard 50,000,000 million was spent all because Clinton didn't know how to or couldn't keep his slick willy in his paints. Lets hope he don't come back by proxy. How many little teenagers will he molest if Hillary wins.

I've come across a few sites that say $45 - $50 million was spent. On an aside, I find it funny how the people who obviously dislike Clinton did not answer the question but instead posed one of their own.

How much money has been raised in churches for Democratic leaders? I thought that there was supposed to be a separation of Church and State? It's okay for liberal to speak at church services and then pass the plate around for campaign donations?
But to address your question - How much money form tax payers is being used for the Scooter Libby trial? How about William Jefferson? How about the FISA issue that is not working out? How many tax dollars were wasted on liberal politicians to visit Gitmo & Iraq - only to complain about it?

$42 million. It was supposed to investigate the Clintons' business dealings. When they couldn't uncover any official wrongdoing they illegally taped conversations to prove marital infidelity, hardly a crime. Can you imagine what would be uncovered if they spent $42million to investigate Bush's business dealings with Saudi oil interests or Enron. That's not to mention Cheney and Halliburton.

over 500 million. More than they paid to investigate 9-11, and the anthrax mailer combined.

You are totally right! We could save so much money just by eliminating law enforcement. Heck we would not need a criminal court system either. Man we could save so much money
