if you are talking about someone driving a car hitting you, then no.
but if you are talking about them hitting you with their hand, then it's not forgivable if they made you bleed or anything

It depends on how hard they hit you. If it was enough to black your eye, you have to wonder if they really meant to hit you that hard. I've been bumped up against in my sleep, so I see it as being possible, but not enough to really get hurt.

You were the one who got hit, wouldn't you know if they hit you while you were sleeping? Wouldn't you be aware of the situation? If you were asleep and woke up with a black eye, then yeah it is possible you got whacked in your sleep. If you have no recollection, you both need to lay off the booze.

Well yea you forgive them..i mean, you've never woke yourself up running, or swinging..or whatever type of extreme thing you're doing while dreaming? And too..I've actually woke up hitting someone before...I felt awful too...because obviously the person I was hitting was the person in my dream, not the person next to me.

me and my gf allways end up knocking eachother with hands and knee;s while we are asleep, nothing major tho.just a little tap.we dont take it seriously but just make a joke out of it when we wake up. cos you cant help it when your alseep.but if your both in the bed and he gets up and just hits you in the face with a perfect right hook then you need to think about not sleeping together in the same room lol.

I did slap my sister once, when I was asleep. I don't remember anything. So, yes, i think it's forgivable.

The intention behind the act is everything.
How sad if you think the person hit you on purpose and is lying about it..........
