1/2x is not the same as 1/2 times x. It's 1 / (2 times x) or 1/2 times 1/x.

So
1/2x > 25
1/x > 50
1 > 50x
1/50 > x which is the same as saying x < 1/50

Add 5 on both sides
1/2 X > 25
Multiply by 2 throughout
