I personally don't think it's possible. We are created to live our life with one person (and sometimes even that feels too much! LOL).
You're bound to face some real trouble if you try to have a three way-relationship. It's just doomed to fail, sooner or later. And if you ask me, I'm sure it'll be sooner.

NO. It has been proven again and again that this is not possible. It only works in theory, like communism.
Love means to choose to put someone else's needs before your own. It is hard enough to do with one person, let alone two. Nobody has the energy to fulfill all the needs of two people.
Even in polygamous relationships (like extremist mormons, or historically chinese people, see "Raise the Red Lantern" or read "The Joy Luck Club") there are First wives who have all the authority, have more power and dominate and then there are lower wives or concubines who have less power and are only there for monitary support. However, in our society, not only is it frowned-upon, but it doesnt work because women are not a commodity, they are human beings and are seen as equal to men. We are raised to devote ourselves to one person because that is the only way to have a balanced relationship. It is what is best for both partners! There are plenty of people to go around and we can each find one person to commit to. Why complicate your life trying to please two lovers equally?

I think it sounds like you may be discussing a mutual arrangement between yourselves.I think that it would be incredibly hard to maintain such an arrangement without running the risk of of offending one.How can you treat them equally?Jealousy will most definitely rear its head. There will be problems with out a doubt. Tho I firmly agree that a man/women can have two lovers and love them both...

sorry love...i've read this 3 times now,but i'm not really sure whay exactly your getting at.
altho i havnt been in the position i think it probably is possible to love 2 ppl at the same time....altho i think you would probably love them for different reasons.
not sure you could do it without offence tho, unless they were both open minded and didnt mind about the other.
if you love someone i dont quite see how you could be with one and not think of the other as in my experience if you love someone you think of them as often as poss.
at the end of the day i think you would have to make a choice as to which one you really wanted to be with

No.
There might be a BRIEF time when everyone is okay with that but it will pass the moment someone becomes insecure. Insecurity is indemic to humanity. You wont find someone who is never insecure.
Be wary of lying to yourself.
Its tempting when considering multiple lovers.
And the worst thing that could happen isnt the loss of one of them. People occasionally commit suicide over just this sort of thing. You dont want to feel that. I promise.

2 people? yes...two of the same relationship? No
No 2 relationships are alike. One will have more sex, the other more sharing or one will have more love and the other more friendship.
What are one's priorities in a rel? That's the question.

people work out all kinds of different relationships and some find a way to make poligamy work so anything is possible. the main rule has to be that you follow your heart and respect your feelings. if it don't feel good don't do it!
