That is a hellatough question. The NFC East probably has the most parity of all the NFC divisions this year, mostly due to some once poor teams being on the rise and the Eagles losing their edge.

The New York Giants look to be a pretty solid contender for the division because of their offense. I look to see a significant improvment from Eli Manning as he showed a lot of progress this past season. Tike Barber is the foundation of that offense and they have added weapons to their receiving corp. I think Plaxico Burress will have a solid if not spectacular year and Jeremy Shockey opens up the field the way Mark Bavaro used to. Their biggest weakness last year was their defense, but they have somewhat addressed that with the improvment in the secondary. If the injury bug stays away from their linebacking corp they should be able to stop the run better. Strahan anchors a solid defensive line.

The Washington Redskins showed a lot of improvement last year, largely because of a stout defense. They lost LaVar Arrington and it will be interesting to see if that changes anything. I think it will soften them against the run some, because a player of his caliber can change the game. Their offense is Clinton Portis, Clinton Portis and Clinton Portis. All Mark Brunell has to do is manage the game, but I don't know if their offense has enough punch to make noise in the playoffs, but they could win the division. Joe Gibbs was and still is one of the best coaches in the game.

The Dallas Cowboys have definately upgraded the passing game with Terrel Owens, but in the same breath he could kill the team. They have plenty of other playmakers catching the ball and have strong tight ends with Jason Whitten being the best one for sure. They have good depth at running back even without Julius Jones and Parcells will probably take the committee approach. Their defense will continue to be strong especially in the front seven. That new defensive end they got last year is a manimal, and the other one they drafted last year was one of the best LSU has ever put out. They have some questions at cornerback but steadily improved there. Drew Bledsoe needs to cut down on the INTs and let his teammates make plays. Parcells, enough said.

The Philidelphia Eagles suffered last year from defensive breakdowns and a lack of a legit running back. I have not really paid attention to what they did this offseason to upgrade in some needed areas on the line. They also terribly missed the playmaking abilities of Terrell Owens last year. If they did not do alot of upgrading they could be toting last place in a very closely fought division, but could easily be first place.

This division is extremely tight with four very good coaches and solid talent on all the teams. This teams here will probably beat the crap out of each other, and none of them will look dominant, but all will be good teams and a scary playoff opponent. (Who ever wins the division) A wild card will not be likely but not impossible here.

My nod, right now goes to the New York Giants, barely.

The Giants are the most complete team in the NFC East. Redskins still have Brunell as QB so they are out in my opinion. The Eagles will be much improved with a healthy McNabb and minus all the controversy of last season. The Cowboys will be good as long as Bledsoe stays healthy, but if he gets hurt then the fun begins. Can you imagine Romo or Henson having to deal with TO

If the Eagles had gotten a WR in the draft, I would've said them, but since they didnt..

The Redskins are the favorite because of how well they fared at the end of last year, I'm not buying them, I feel that Brunells going to get hurt and they're going to be lead by the inexperienced Jason Campbell.

The Cowboys got alot of hype because they signed T.O. I still have no idea who their QB is. Is it still testaverde? or bledsoe? either way theyre old and wont produce much unless its on defense.

The Eagles have a healthy roster once again, but will probably lose it midseason again. They still didn't make any giant improvments to their WR core, so it's really hard to pick them.

I pick the Giants to win the division, because Eli is finally starting to look comfortable. He's finding Plaxico and Amani, and when he doesn't there's Tiki to run all over the defense. On the defensive side of the ball they also made big improvements, getting Lavar Arrington, Sam Madison and Will Demps.

Although I hate to, I pick the Giants to be the division leader with a record of 10-6

The G-Men will take the East this year with Cowboys and Eagles fighting over wildcard. Redskins will continue to be mediocre.

I going to have to go with the concensus on this one. The G-Men, after aquiring the semi-insane LaVar Arrington (he will punish his former team-watch), look formidable on D, and Tiki Barber is the biggest little back in the NFL. Someone said 'Da Bears.' That's hilarious. Gotta love NFL fans.

Well the Eagles have no recieveing corp, the Cowboys will last 2 weeks before T.O. tears apart the team, and The Redskins ownership seem to have forgotten they have to play defense, too.
So, it has to be the Giants led by Mr. Manning (Eli) they will win the division.
