Finally, some excitement us americans can enjoy about world cup soccer. Some controversy is what the boring game needs. Some personality too. What do the rest of you think?

If it's so boring why is it known as the most popular sports in the world?! I think is just plain ignorant just to say that...and no offense buddy but stoping the clock on every second for a new play during an american football game isn't that exciting either!

Hi,

I don't find soccer boring. Sometimes it definetly is, when "bad" teams play.

I just like it when Italy my favorite team play, I live just under Italy too. I also don't get bothered watching brazil neither.

However I like also wrestling, but same way, I don't like it when some JBL or Calito fight. Prefer other matching consisting of Kane for example.

I dont think Zidane should get all the blame. I read in the news that Materazzi called him a dirty terrorist. Maybe he deserved the headbutt? Some Italians do have dirty mouths you know.

A sad ending to a great player's career, caused by serious insults from an ignorant opponent.
(Materazzi called himself an ignorant)

I think that if you left it to France to do anything, you don't want to be swinging from a rope.

Even in the Revolutionary War, we had to wait six months fr them, as they took that long to understand the concept of bathing.
