Because they value property over everything, and they usually have a lot of it to protect.

You are confusing conservatives with Republicans. They are very different, my friend. While the Republicans are, in fact, closest to the conservatives, they were definitely founded on an anti-constitution platform. On this, you could not be more right. They intended, and succeeded, to introduce the spoils system into America, known as the American System. This was hatched by Henry Clay, and propagated by the Whig Party which later melted into the newly-formed Republican Party. Over the years, the Democrats have embraced this system just as much, (maybe more so) as the republicans. However, the true Jeffersonian/Reaganite conservatives are still crying out for a restoration of the Constitution and a reduction in the size of government. While the Republicans make more of an effort to listen, neither party actually does anything about it.

Why do Liberals make sweeping statements that aren't true? I want to protect the Constitution from Marxist and Communists who want to take away my freedom of speech by saying I can't have the 10 commandments on a court room wall or in a school. I am for protecting the constitution from people who would take away my second amendment rights. Maybe you should come back when you are a grown up.

That's pretty funny, because it flies in the face of all fact.

Actually, it is the conservatives who most value the limitations on government in the Constitution and the enumeration of our God-given rights as listed in the Bill of Rights.

Perhaps, if it's not asking too much of a liberal, you could actually back a single one of your grandiose gassings with one small tiny shred of evidence?

How many of your personal rights have been taken away? Why don't you ask Fidel Castro, Kim Jong IL, or Mahmud Amadinejad the same question.

Conservatives are not against human rights, but they are proponents of individual responsibility. Teach them to fish, don't just feed them.

They aren't they believe we are all equal and dont all need individual rights, because we all have the same rights. The problem is each group and race "thinks" they deserve more so each go after what they want.

We aren't. We also support the constitution. We just don't like the changes that liberal activist judges have made by their "interpretations".
