Just curious. I actually find myself laughing out loud sometimes at the absurdity of their presentation and tone of their remarks.

elmjunburke - you requested an example of something absurd or unfair. I would refer you to anything Sean Hannity has ever said on any topic. Great decision, by the way, on some producer's part to make that patsy Alan Colmes the mouthpiece of the left. That guy couldn't win an argument with a toaster.

No news organization is entirely free of bias, but FOX News doesn't seem to be even trying very hard to be "fair and balanced." CNN is getting pretty bad, too. Shame, too, as they used to be the best there was in the U.S.

I watch Fox News every evening. My answer is yes. I believe they're as fair and balanced as a news broadcast can be.
You didn't give any examples of what you found to be so absurd or unfair, without that not much can be said.

I think they are more so than the other channels. Most of the other news leans so far to the left it is ridiculous. By the way a university study rated fox news as being closer to the middle than the other news channels.

No, wait, yes. There are a lot of nutcases who do believe that they are fair and balanced. The thing is that it's because they agree with them. The thing is that there isn't a fair and balanced news organization at all anymore, op-ed has taken over from delivering the news of the day.

It's funny how when you criticize FOX as being propagandists for Bush, those who are being propagandized start saying, "CNN sucks too!" "Clinton Network News." Yes, those other "news" organizations also suck, but FOX is just the most egregious example.

Real journalism is nearly DEAD in the US.

fox is a joke, the network is totally bent. It summarises the demise of america and its democracy is questionable.
