Forget Wikipedia and dictionaries. Use your own brain. My brain says that "whining" is to complain about minor things. Some people label complaining about colossal blunders of a great magniture, e.g., the Iraq war, as whining. Who's right?

Southpaw: You are naive if you think anyone here is telling the whole world our battle plans! If its repeating a point over and over and over - then why not just say that, it would be much more effecteve than calling it "whining"!

Not one person has ever called my ranting pointless and boring. If that's what it is, then call a spade a spade. For example, Rush Limbaugh's 3 daily hours of ranting is pointless and boring - not whining!
