what do you remember about the 80's? for me it would be the CARE BEARS. im an 80's child.

I remember the care bears, the transformers, smurfs, my little pony, punky brewster, a show about a girl that was a robot I think her name was Vicky, but I can't remeber the name of the show. some songs, and of course the wacky cloths. I remember my mom hair do... omg everytime I see the picture I go LMAO.... oh and also I remember JEM and Hi-man... nice shows, I miss those days that I wake up in the mornings and I can watch some decent TV... cartoons since 7am until almost 12 and really good ones. :D

I miss all those cars from the 60's & 70's that were so common back then. Too many 80's & 90's cars were dissapointing. There are only a couple that would still capture my fancy, if I had a chance to own them.

I miss the hair bands and Rainbow Brite lol. I liked the clothes and music. I'm an 80's child too. Was born in 1980.

Good Rock. There is some good rock now but not as much as back then.
High school was fun (88) but I didn't realize it then.
I DON'T miss bands like Wham and Catch-goo-goo and Boy George.
Hey, I had the Evil Knievel Stunt Cycle too! That thing would go far before he fell over.

I think I miss the music. I dont know if it was kind of music or that I was young and music meant so much to me then. Sometimes I still listen to 80's tunes and remember what I was doing at that place ant time :) Good question!

I miss the movies, the music, and the gaudy outfits. Man, I wish I were in the eighties right now. I'd love it, or hate it, I really don't know 'cause I was never there, but I'm obsessed with it.

I dont miss the 80's..or any past years really but I do remember...
big hair
decent gas prices
alot of bands sounding the same
a few great movies
everyone going for the "label" on things...materialistic ways
Aids was brought in the US
wars no one mentioned hardly ever

well, since i was born in 79 (i'm 27 now)...i don't really remember the 80's too much. the music was okay...gotta love those bands like firehouse and foreigner etc. LOL. those old love songs.

Let's see, I miss Punky Brewster, friendship bracelets, Clear Pepsi (haha) Hyper Color Shirts, Oakley Razor Blades, Max Hedrom, My Little Pony, Teddy Ruxpin, The original Double Dare . . . physical challenges, super bad bangs that were Aqua Netted . . Trans Ams and of course all of the music.
