To those of you have imply I don't give my earnings and time away, I've made less than $20,000 over the last four years. I volunteer a great deal, and live at places where I volunteer, oftentimes in some pretty rough places. I volunteered twice in New Orleans this past year. So quit yer thinking I don't live what I preach.

~Perhaps you ought to check your facts out before you shoot your mouth off.

Bono, Sting and Bianca Jaggar are the top three philantropists in the music industry who have each donated over 30% of their wealth to charity.

Brad and Angelina recently contributed $5,000,000 of their personal wealth to charities dealing with AIDS, starvation and medical care in Africa, and environmental issues.

Check out what Bill Gates and Warren Buffett have done.

By the way, how much of your "wealth" have you given away?

Angelina Jolie gives away around 30% of her income. I don't think she is hypocritical to keep the rest. She is doing alot of good by giving away money that she makes from being a high-demand actress. Although she probably enjoys many luxuries, i think the public and Hollywood execs expect their high paid actresses to be high class. So, I think she needs the jet set lifestyle to continue commanding millions per film.

oh c'mon! it's not like giving away their entire wealth would solve all problems and eradicate all poor and needy people from planet earth, is it! and why do they have to be poor as well for you people to be happy? being generous with the lot you have is good enough, one doesn't have to join the ranks of the needy as well. the hypocrite is you, making such a comment, when you know you would NEVER do the same if you were in their shoes. would you even give the tenth of what they are giving now? i think not.

If they give away their wealth, as per your suggestion, do you think they would remain 'celebrity' any longer....also, most of the times... when these so-called 'celebrities' pontificate and grandstand about 'injustice' and all that kinda crap, ti's nothing more than an eyewash and to project their so-called 'caring' image in the eyes of the gullible public -- which owing to its own starry-eyed attitude, confuses their star-persona with the real-life one -- so that it can fork out money (...mmm) for their performances and keep the dough rollin...and frankly, to sum up this attitude of these media-inflated celebrities, its simply more hype, and no substance or tall on promises and short on delivery...
