Thanks everyone for your reply. How far is US embassy from domestic airport?.. Can anyone give some specific hotel in karol bagh to book it online?

The closest two hotels, may be 1 kilometers or so, from US Embassy in New Delhi / Delhi are 5 star hotels. And others in the radius of 3 kilometers are still costing higher (including 2 other 5 stars). The closest within your budget can be in Karol Bagh area ( about 8 kilometers via Ridge Road) to US Embassy.
In Karol Bagh, there are plenty such accommodations available on single and twin sharing basis within your range. It is very well connected area, with one of the major retail markets of Delhi, lot of eating places with multi cuisine options, very good availability of transport and communication means 24x7.

US Embassy in Delhi is almost 12-15 Kms away from Domestic Airport. You cannot find any hotel new embassy in that budget but surely there are lot of hotels in Karol Bagh area. I don't have the web site address of any specific hotel but you can search on Yahho or Google for Services International, they are one of the biggest agents and provides online booking option. Please for god's sake dont go to Karo Bagh. It is the most commercial, and dirty location. Go to Defence colony, It is excellent for Ex-pats, and 20 minutes drive from the US embassy. You may get a nice Private Guest house room for Rs. 1500- 2000 per night. Lot of multicuisine restaurants for foreigners.

I think you need to tell us which US Embassy in India you're talking about, New Dehli? Calcutta? Mumbai? I hope you're not anywhere near Mumbai right now.
