October, in my opinion, is the BEST month to visit Orlando! The weather cools down a little bit, but its still plenty wamr enough to swim and do everything you want to. It's just not as unbearably hot as the summer months.

Have a great time!

The weather in Oct rocks. I am from MA orginally so OCt in the 407 is great. It is actually still warm. USually about high seventies but the nights get cool-down to like the thirties even. Usually rains during the day for those quick Florida showers but clears up quick.

I went to Orlando in October 2005 . We were there for 10 days. It was humid and a bit warm. I am from Arizona (we get 110 degree summers) and the humidity is what really got to me. But if you're going to Disneyworld, it is one of the best times to go because it's not as crowded. Have Fun!

Rain hurricanes , lots of lightening and of course the tidal waves, apart from that........
Just joking, my wife and I had a great time in that area in October for 2 weeks !a bit of drizzle on one day the locals thought this was a disaster, but within an hour of the rain falling we could watch the steam rising as it dried out! So enjoy and good luck!
Did I mention the earth quakes??

Florida is still hot in October, you can expect rain (hopefully of the brief 30 minute deluge type), and because Orlando is inland it will cool down overnight. Try www.wunderground.com for forecasts.

Well, it's usually kinda rainy. The last couple of years, we've still been tracking hurricanes in October, so plan for the possibility of those as well.
