I have heard of this happening before, fortunately, there is a cure. Usually when exposed to something with a harsh aroma...like mace/pepper spray, your body naturally begins to secrete natural bodily fluids in an attempt to expel the harmful effect i.e, crying, vomitting, and yes DROOLING - take a shower and this problem should desist! Probably because light travels faster than sound. Go ahead and say something to them-it will probably cease the drooling. Usually behind a mask- there's tons of insecurities and seldom are they smart.

Actually I believe that they are not actually drooling. They are trying not to spew vomit and a little leaks out.

perhaps they are not drooling, it might be that gush of saliva you get just before vomiting. relax dude, it was an honest mistake that anyone of your obvious intellect would have made.
