why does everyone think the world is coming to an end? it has only begun! these "catastrophic" events we are currently and have been experiencing are merely minutae in the big picture of the existence of the earth. even if we humands dont, the earth will adapt and survive.

At some point in time, the world will end. To think otherwise is ignorant. I don't beleive you will find an expert (in any subject) that will say differently.

Most of the "end o the world freaks". Are evangelical nuts who think that they will be "raptured" which means be taken up into heaven with their clothes stacked in a neat pile on the ground. Of course its a great opportunity for people who want some free clothes. Bear in mind that most evangelical freakazoids dress like holly hobby people and you probably would not want their clothes anyway.
Furthermore, the rapture will, according to the bible, be 144,000 jewish males who have never known a woman. So these people should read their bibles again and stop with their nervous nellying.

Lighten up, you are hanging with the wrong crowd, obviously. Or perhaps the wrong Town or nation even.
Where I am, everyone is CELEBRATING the Winning of the world cup and me, I am about to go to the seaside in Montecarlo for two weeks, weather is beautiful, wine tastes like nowhere else in the world, what can I tell you it's a totally different vibe.

The world is clearly ending.
I mean look at America. We now have strawberry cream filled twinkies!
Why would they change twinkies? It's obvious that they have been possessed by Satan.
But if you want to save the world, you must start smoking pot. Lots and lots of THC filled marijuana. That's the only way for the people to reunite with the holy spirit.

The world will always be here but the times are getting ready to change. Starting with disaters in the armegedon but then there will be the 1000 years of millenial reign while the devil is locked away then he will be released to tempt once again.

Who knows? Maybe the pollution will kill the earth. Maybe the earth will be filled with people who will travel to another planets.Maybe all the continents will sink. Maybe Doomsday will occur.
