Neither is harmful to society.

They're both only movies. They can't do a thing to anyone.

Only the weak-minded who can't distinguish between what's real and what's on television become harmful to society. That's not the fault of the movie. 99.9% of all people can watch a movie and say "oh, that was nice" at the end. That 0.01%, however, will finish the movie and somehow translate that into something real in their lives. They're flipping nuts, but it's wrong to blame the movie. Just like it's wrong to blame the carmaker when someone hops in their car and runs over a group of people at the fair.

I think **** movies are more harmful to society, but in a different way than violent film. ****, in my opinion, is degrading to both sexes. Sex is a private and beautiful thing. Instead of fulfilling the promise of infinite orgasmic bliss, sex in the Americas is becoming a strangely joyless national compulsion, if not a contemptuous mockery.

Neither is good, but they're not really bad either. I think pornography is less harmful to society.. Violence, well, it's too common too. I think **** movies WITH violence is the MOST harmful to society. I know bondage and stuff can be very sexual and stuff, but that is exactly what supposedly drives rapists.

I remember reading a interview with Ted Bundy (Famous Serial killer/Rapist) before he was executed and he talked about how Pornography was the root of his psychotic behavior.. I know it seems like it's not credible.. but as he kept talking about it, it really made more sense. **** turned into violent ****, bondage, and years after that, he got bored.. he needed to fullfill his fantasies.. Of course he was like crazy, but I can really see how it can fuel such behavoir.

I'm NOT saying if you watch **** you'll become a serial killer, healthy people watch ****. I just think that it was a very interesting interview on and instance when pornography was harmful to society.

When in doubt, look at the Europeans. They beleive that violence is worse than love. Therfore, **** or other such movies are the equivalent of our R rating and the violent movies are the harder ones to find.

they are both negative, and both can lead to bad thinking, there is no way that i can say one is less harmless than the other when the outcome is the same.
