I'm a Mac person, and I don't know HTML but I need to get
myself a website that I can create easily and update myself. Is there any (free) software of sites I can use? I don't want to spend a lot (or any if possible) money. Can you help?

I want to create a website for my new business, and I plan to register for my own domain name. I don't want to spend a lot of money, but will spend some. I'd prefer to not have somebody else's ads on my site. I do not know HTML, so I will need a site that allows me to create a professional looking website with their own tools. I will want to use my own fonts, images and artwork. Do I regsiter for a domain name and pay a yearly fee, and then build a site through someone like geocities or bravenet paying a monthly fee? Or is there another site that might be better? Can anyone give me any insight on how to get this started? I'm trying so hard to get my new company up and running from my home, but I'm not familiar with website stuff. Thanks!

Well, I have been working on finding a quality, free, and a real website. [real means www.domainname.com]. I found that was impossable. I found Geocities [www.geocities.com/yahooid, mine is www.geocities.com/mrbw202] free, and I found Batcave, witch I am using now [http://www.blazewalker.batcave.net-that is mine] It is a great program, and of course, free, but again if you want www.yourname.com you would have to pay money. I think that using freesitedesigner.com. I think that using there basic is okay for my needs. I hope I was a help to you, `Blaze.

MySpace is pretty good for that. Go to http://www.myspace.com/mizterrysplace2 and check out mine. It would be a start, anyway.

You can use geocities.com, freewebs.com, angelfire.com, bravenet.com, and a few others.

Each one is different, so you have to choose which one is better for you.
